NWI Group are delighted to have been able to attend the 1st ASEAN Battery & Electric Vehicle Technology Conference (ABEVTC) in Bali, Indonesia, from May 9 – 11, 2023. As an official HIOKI distributor for Australia, NWI Group was keen to participate in the event to explore opportunities to collaborate with other industry players and learn about the latest advancements in the field. Two of our staff, General Manager Jonathon Moraitis and Service Technician Jason Lai, represented the company at the conference.
The conference was co-organized by the Singapore Battery Consortium (SBC), National Center for Sustainable Transportation Technology (NCSTT), and Thailand Energy Storage Technology Association (TESTA), with support from Hioki E.E Corporation, a Japanese manufacturer for test and measuring instruments and one of our trusted suppliers at NWI Group. The event aimed to create a vibrant ASEAN Battery & Electric Vehicle Technology Ecosystem and brought together mid-level professionals in the field of EV and battery technology to exchange knowledge and build relationships for future collaboration.
The event was headed by many key industry speakers, including Mr. Yasunao Takano, Director Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of HIOKI E.E Corporation.
The vision of ABEVTC was to elevate the battery, EV, and new energy ecosystem from the state level to the ASEAN level, connecting them to a much larger market and more advanced technologies. By bringing together the industries, academics, and national policymakers from ASEAN countries, the conference aimed to forge a vibrant ecosystem that would reduce the carbon footprint and create a more sustainable future. This inaugural collaboration between regional leading associations within South East Asia was a step towards achieving this goal.
As an official HIOKI distributor for Australia, NWI Group was proud to attend the ABEVTC and participate in this important event. As a company, NWI Group is committed to advancing the EV ecosystem and contributing to a more sustainable future for all.
